For generations, Air Max’s iconic shoe models and silhouettes have been universally recognized. This is not the case when it comes to Gen-Z – they reference Air Max as one shoe, without differentiating styles. This is why we invited them to get to know Air Max (styles) in a meaningful way, so they could fall in love. To properly celebrate Nike Air Max and bond youngsters with the brand, we created an Air Max experience event. The most important detail was to transform the event venue to create a place for the youth to be seen, heard, engage, and innovate alongside Nike Air Max. A series of installations & workshops allowed the event guests to interact with the Air Max products. This included a customization experience with pieces of jewelry for the shoes, a shoe cleaning station, and running soundtracks from local artists. Craft designers created tailored rugs as a collectible, which one lucky visitor took home at the end of the event. To ensure that each guest has a spot at the workshops and different stations, we created a dedicated landing page for us to use as a booking tool for the activities.Â
